At Fjärilshuset Haga Ocean you can experience life below and above the surface. Discover a world filled with color, beauty and nature. Enjoy wandering among free-flying butterflies in tropical greenhouses. Discover the enchanting mating dance of butterflies and if you're lucky, watch a butterfly hatch and take its first wing.

Check out our fascinating reef sharks. Colorful reef fish swim alongside the reef sharks in the 30-meter tank that holds 1.2 million liters of water.

You can then have a coffee or light lunch at our café. We look forward to your visit and we can guarantee you an unforgettable experience.

Fall Break Adventures at the Haga Ocean Butterfly House! 🦋
Make your fall break extra exciting and step into our tropical world! Here you can encounter colorful butterflies flying freely around you and discover sharks, fish, frogs, turtles, and many other fascinating animals.

During fall break, zoologist Owe Sandström will be on site October 24–29, as well as October 31 and November 1. He’ll give exciting presentations, share fun facts, and demonstrate fish feeding.

Did you know that some of the owl moths at the Haga Ocean Butterfly House complete their entire life cycle here? Right now, you can see owl moths in various stages of their life cycle. We have eggs, caterpillars, and pupae, while the adult moths flit about in our tropical environment.

The black-tipped reef shark is one of the reef’s most elegant inhabitants. It can be recognized by the black tips on its fins, as if someone had dipped them in ink before it set out into the ocean.
