At Fjärilshuset Haga Ocean you can experience life below and above the surface. Discover a world filled with color, beauty and nature. Enjoy wandering among free-flying butterflies in tropical greenhouses. Discover the enchanting mating dance of butterflies and if you're lucky, watch a butterfly hatch and take its first wing.

Check out our fascinating reef sharks. Colorful reef fish swim alongside the reef sharks in the 30-meter tank that holds 1.2 million liters of water.

You can then have a coffee or light lunch at our café. We look forward to your visit and we can guarantee you an unforgettable experience.

Exhibition on the animals of Africa at the Butterfly House.

We are currently showing a beautiful and inspiring exhibition in collaboration with Peace Parks Foundation Sweden. Visual artist Karin Holmström and photographer Jytte Fredholm Ferreira exhibit works created during their joint journey through wild Africa.

‍Art-in-the-Park can be found at Fjärilshuset Haga Ocean - a unique outdoor exhibition with:
- 16 large art boards to look at in the open airCaptivating visual stories that arouse curiosity and love for Africa's wild nature.

- A powerful combination of Jytte's photography and Karin's painting, which captures the raw beauty and creativity of their experiences.

Also hear stories about the Peace Parks Foundation's important work to preserve wildlife and animals in southern Africa.

📅 Don't miss: On September 19-21, the original works will be shown indoors at Fjärilshuset. Karin and Jytte are on site and share their stories from the wilderness.
