Two new exciting residents at Fjärilshuset Haga Ocean!

We have added to our animal family - two rhinoceros iguanas and two spurred tortoises have moved in! These amazing animals are donated to the Butterfly House and now have a new home with us.

The Rhinoceros Iguana looks almost like a small dinosaur with its spines and characteristic 'horns' on its snout. Originally from the Caribbean, these fascinating reptiles are masters at camouflaging themselves in their environment.

Our spurred tortoises are some of the largest tortoises in the world and can weigh over 80 kg! They come from the dry savannahs of Africa and love to dig deep burrows to cool off.

Come and meet our new reptile friends - a meeting you won't forget!
