We are proud to announce that two little Greek tortoises have hatched here at the Butterfly House! It is a real joy to welcome these little wonders to our turtle family.
The birth of Greek tortoises outside their natural environment is a major event. It is very difficult to create the right conditions for reproduction outside their natural environment. They need exactly the right temperature, humidity and careful care for the eggs to hatch. Therefore, this is a unique and important success for us!
We hope you will come and visit our new additions during the fall break.
